Job Summary: 

Position Summary:

The Product Manager/Owner is responsible for driving product strategy, identifying market problems, quantifying the opportunities to ensure the size of the market results in positive ROI, communicating the opportunity to the executive team with the business rationale for pursuing the opportunity including financial forecasts and risk assessment.

This position will be the conduit for the voice of the customer, defining offerings for software and/or services in our affiliate channel and creating compelling value propositions for the consumer in addition to managing the ParetoLogic product portfolio.

The ideal candidate will have the ability to think strategically and analytically with an ability to follow through tactically regarding business, organizational, product management and cross functional issues. The role requires strong problem solving skills, excellent cross-group collaboration skills, a strong tolerance for ambiguity, and a drive for results.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Create and manage the overall Product Ownership process
  • Create products and feature sets to meet corporate strategic goals
  • Manage the timeline of releases to meet business and market objectives
  • Manage the product line life cycle, from strategic planning to update and maintenance
  • Research and analyze consumer market and industry trends for potential opportunities based on strategic corporate direction
  • Be the voice of the consumer to communicate market needs to internal stakeholders
  • Identify innovation opportunities in markets not currently covered by ParetoLogic’s consumer products
  • Develop business cases for new products and markets targeting increases in net customer value.
  • Provide ParetoLogic technology assessments against market demands
  • Develop and maintain product documentation that effectively communicates market needs to technical groups
  • Gather and analyze feedback from customers and the market
  • Develop requirements documentation including workflow diagrams, use cases and work with UI design on mock-ups for new products and product features
  • Define effective conversion workflow for a variety of pain point, freemium, free, and premiums software solutions.
  • Work with Business Operations team to augment products and features with effective messaging
  • Lead, drive and communicate product launches in concert with project managers
  • Other duties as assigned by the Senior Director of Business Operations

  • Prior experience with successfully communicating up to senior executives and out to the broader organization
  • Ability to author a variety of documents, both business and technical
  • Understanding of Pragmatic Marketing model
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business or Technology or equivalent experience
  • 5-8 years of demonstrated experience in product management, or product planning in consumer application industry
