Reporting to the Human Resources Business Manager, the Human Resources Business Partner (HRBP) will plan, develop and implement sound people strategies to meet business needs. In addition to providing strategic HR counsel on the spectrum of HR services success will come from forging strong relationships with leaders and employees across the organization. This position is responsible for the HR needs of the Canadian operation which includes the Victoria office as well as for the remote employees in the Canada. This position carries out responsibilities in all of the following functional areas: Recruitment, Selection and On-Boarding, Compensation and Benefits, Performance Management, Training and Development, Employee Relations & Engagement, Policy and Compliance, HRIS, Health and Wellness and Immigration.
This position works closely with the Human Resources team in Canada and the US. The Human Resources Business Partner will also collaborate with the Global HR Director’s team and complete project work for the global level.
