Job Summary: 

Reporting to the Quality Assurance Manager, the successful applicant will assume a key role to proactively reduce variation, monitor quality concerns, initiate continuous improvements, and assist with product launches through risk evaluation and qualification testing.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Support the development of the Quality Management System (QMS) through:
    • Conducting internal audits & supplier qualification and performance evaluation reviews;
    • Developing and conducting root cause analysis training for supporting departments;
    • Conducting Corrective Action Report (CAR) reviews;
    • Analyzing data and report results; and
    • Developing quality standards & procedures.
  • Identify, analyze and control Critical To Control (CTC) variables and attributes through:
    • Process Failure Mode & Effect Analysis (PFMEA) & Control Plans;
    • Implementing Statistical Process Control (SPC); and
    • Conducting Design of Experiments (DOE), Gauge R&R and ANOVA process capability studies.
  • Interface with R&D, Engineering & Manufacturing to ensure transfer to Production of new products are in accordance with approved data from Product Qualification Testing.
  • Collaborate with supporting departments & Manufacturing to drive Continuous Process Improvement initiatives including facilitating brainstorming & root cause analysis activities.
  • Conduct Reliability Analyses of products before and after launch.
  • Conduct Failure Analyses of products before and after launch.
  • Ensure timely resolution of customer complaints and supplier failures through corrective actions.
  • Support and assist the Quality Assurance Manager through:
    • ISO, customer and regulatory audits & inspections;
    • Preparation of QA reports; and
    • Maintaining the effectiveness of the QMS.


  • Minimum 5 years’ manufacturing or production oriented process development experience, with at least 3 years in a quality function;
  • ISO 9001 and ISO 13485 or GMP experience preferred;
  • Strong working skills and experience with statistical software (such as JMP);
  • SQL database development experience is a bonus; and
  • Experience with MS Office programs is a must.

  • Demonstrate positive attitude and self-motivation.


  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Process or Industrial Engineering or equivalent B.Sc.
