BC Assessment is now searching for two dynamic people who are passionate about technology to join its team in the integral role(s) of Lead Technical Analyst.

In this important role, your primary task will be to plan and manage technology solutions and services across multiple platforms, customer areas and a variety of systems environments. You will develop technical service and configuration standards, and provide detailed implementation plans to ensure our solutions and services are technically accurate and meet operational requirements.

You will also be responsible for ensuring the successful operation of BC Assessment production services through management, monitoring and reporting the status of production jobs and tasks.

As you will be leading project teams, it will be important for you to work successfully in a collaborative team environment, while directing and reviewing work produced by other team members.

Finally, you will display your innovation and change management skills by researching and investigating emerging technology and recommending approaches for integrating that technology into the infrastructure of BC Assessment.

In the first year, you can look forward to:

  • Being a key resource in the 2014 Workstation Refresh;
  • Providing key input as a team member associated with the 2014 Rolls & Notices process;
  • Providing technology leadership within the Technical Service Team.

Job Requirements


A University Degree in Computer Science


  • Three years related data processing experience;
  • Experience with disaster recovery planning;
  • Experience in a client focused environment is preferred.
