Job Summary: 

CAMACC Systems is looking to hire a talented, hard-working Computer and Digital Video Recorder Technician to run our DVR Build and Repair Department in Victoria. We’re looking for a team-oriented, customer-focused, problem solver for this key position responsible for building, maintaining and repairing our own, custom, Digital Video Recorder. Naturally, experience is an asset, but CAMACC always hires for positive, can-do attitude, and provides outstanding training.

This is a full-time position, 40+ hours per week, with some variation depending on customer needs.


  • Manufactures Digital Video Recorders and conducts quality assurance checks, including assembly and installation of components, basic programming, and trouble-shooting.
  • Keeps equipment operational by completing preventive maintenance, following manufacturer’s instructions; and troubleshooting malfunctions.
  • Maintains safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations.
  • Maintains supplies inventory by checking stock to determine inventory level, and anticipating needed supplies.
  • Documents actions by completing production and quality forms.
  • Displays a consistent commitment to best practice safety procedures.


  • Experience with computers, electronics, and Digital Video Recorders, an asset.
  • Proven skills and experience with computers and networking.
  • Strong organizational and problem solving skills.
  • Excellent listening, verbal and written communication skills, including complete and accurate paperwork.
  • A can-do attitude and cheerful nature.
