Checkfront was created in response to frustration with the tools available to businesses looking to manage bookings both off and online. From a consumer and business operator perspective, the solutions were antiquated, segregated and expensive.
In late 2008, Jason Morehouse and Grant Jurgeneit set out to fill the gap in online booking software and started work on Checkfront. Version 1.0 launched in June, 2010 following an overwhelmingly positive response to the beta. Checkfront quickly became a leading provider of cloud-based booking services and now processes over $100 million USD in bookings each year.
