We are looking for a creative team member to help expand our award winning telematics solution to an on-demand service for world-wide use. The candidate needs to have strong initiative, desire to learn, and excellent design/implementation skills. Benefits include:

REQUIREMENTS

  • Degree in Computer Science, Electrical Technician or equivalent
  • 5+ years experience in software and firmware development
  • 3 years experience using .NET, C#, VB, WPF
  • 3 years experience using Windows XP Embedded
  • Skills in design and assembly of electronic systems for use in harsh marine environments
  • Strong problem solving skills and desire to learn
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Desire to produce high-quality applications that meet users’ needs

DESIRABLE

  • Experience with any enterprise tools such as Spring, Hibernate, MS CAB, SVN, UML, Workflow, unit testing, refactoring, mock object testing, or similar technologies.
  • MSBuild and Windows Installer XML
  • ASP.NET (MVC, Entity Framework)
  • Video application development
  • Understanding of satellite and cellular communications
  • Time-series/sensor data application development
  • Experience in computer assisted technical drawings
