Business Development Representative (Victoria, BC)

Are you a sales professional seeking a Victoria company with growth potential? The FleetLynx group at Vecima Networks is a smart, passionate and experienced team helping firms better manage their fleets with easy access to key business data.  This sales position requires an enthusiastic, customer-oriented professional with the talent to find and engage new prospects and clients.

For Fleet Managers who are dissatisfied with location only Telematics and poor ROI tracking, Vecima’s FleetLynx™ product family is a complete tracking and maintenance solution that provides alerts, reporting, full API, and CAN engine data.  Unlike many competing products, Vecima’s solution is intuitive, expandable and provides extensive data for third party integration and automation.  The cost associated with fueling and vehicle maintenance is easily tracked and ROI can be quickly proven with a deployment of the FleetLynx smart vehicle management system.

Vecima’s headquarters are based in Victoria, BC, with a network of customers and dealers across the United States and Canada.  Sales work for this position would be primarily phone and email based out the office, but travel for tradeshows and customer meetings will be required occasionally.

While previous sales experience is an asset, the successful candidate is a hardworking, fearless individual motivated to proactively engage prospects and customers to drive new account acquisition.

Responsibilities

  • Actively generate prospects
  • Ability to demonstrate FleetLynx products to prospects
  • Record and update all sales activities and contacts in the CRM

Required Work Experience, Skills and Knowledge

  • You will drive customer engagement
  • Ability to multi-task and follow through
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to influence the sale
  • Excellent oral and email communication
  • Able to pass a background check and have a valid Canadian passport

Criminal Background Checks will be required upon accepting employment with Vecima Networks Inc.  Vecima will reimburse the full amount upon acceptance of the Criminal Background Check.
