Job Summary: 

FillZ is looking for a Director of Product Management and Sales to provide the unifying force behind the definition and execution of the FillZ product, sales, and marketing strategy. In this role, you will lead the Customer Service and Sales & Account management team, and work closely with the Software Development team in a fast-paced, agile environment. You must possess a combination of leadership, business, and technical skills, as well as having a passion for online business. This position requires a self-starter with excellent analytical skills, the ability to work well with clients and colleagues representing a wide range of business scope and experience, a willingness to travel, and a high comfort level working in a results-driven organization.


  • Define, drive, and execute the FillZ sales strategy to aggressively grow the business
  • Play a central role in the definition and evaluation of new features and the product roadmap
  • Manage the Victoria-based FillZ customer service and Sales & Account Management teams
  • Communicate features, tools, and benefits of FillZ to online sellers to help them reduce costs and increase their sales
  • Work cross functionally with all areas of the company to leverage AbeBooks and Amazon resources and knowledge

Your Responsibilities:

  • Achieve quantitative and qualitative goals set for the market segment specific product(s)
  • Define the product strategy and roadmap and oversee its implementation
  • Prioritize the workflow and initiatives of the product and communicate it to the technical side
  • Work with external third parties to maximize the performance of current relationships and assess potential partnerships
  • Be an expert with respect to the competition
  • Propose and develop a reliable, efficient and actionable set of KPIs to be used within the FillZ team and to be distributed to the Senior Management Team in a periodical basis
  • Collaborate with the Amazon team to take advantage of the potential synergies, share relevant strategies and perform joined initiatives whenever possible


  • Sales, marketing or product management experience, or previous experience managing a small business
  • Experience in fast-paced environments with overlapping projects/deliverables
  • Proven track record in strong, effective written communications
  • Ability to think critically about marketing and sales program strategies and execution
  • Ability to diplomatically lead and build consensus in a fast paced organization
  • Technical Bachelor's degree (MBA or other Master's preferred) or equivalent experience
