Computer Technician
1.0 FTE Position

Island Catholic Schools and the Diocese of Victoria are seeking a Computer Technician for computer hardware, software, and IT services support. Details of the position can be found on our website –

Duties could include:

  • Develop and implement a program of preventative maintenance for ICS and DoV computers, servers, software, and infrastructure.
  • Provide corrective repairs and maintenance as required.
  • Assisting staff and students in the selection and use of appropriate software and hardware to support learning and operational goals and requirements.
  • Make recommendations to staff for software programs and applications to support teaching/learning and other processes.
  • Provide technical training to staff as required.
  • Advise on budgetary matters related to purchase of hardware/software.

The preferred applicant should be a practising Catholic, an active member of a Catholic parish community and have a proven commitment to excellence in Catholic education.
