Job Summary: 


You are a dynamic leader who is accountable for the overall quality assurance activities of projects within the IT Division. This role provides overall leadership and direction to program/project/IT teams in the areas of quality assurance, project delivery, configuration management and testing. You will be responsible for developing and defining testing strategies and executing testing on new or modified applications to validate that functionality conforms to established requirements. This role leads Quality Assurance functions with a focus of responsibility on continuous improvement, quality assurance, effective change management and project delivery excellence.

You have a proven ability to develop and implement policy and to affect change within an organization using knowledge of best practice methodologies. You possess exceptional business acumen and communication skills.

You have a degree or diploma in Business, Computer Science or other IT related discipline. You have 5+ years’ experience in IT controls including applications, databases, operating systems, servers, and networks with a minimum 5 years’ experience in Quality Assurance and/or Configuration Management with 2+ years in a leadership role. You have strong knowledge of applicable laws and regulations relating to IT (e.g. FOIPP, PCI) and Quality Assurance and Quality Control best practices. You have extensive knowledge and experience in IT Controls Framework, with subject matter expertise in COBIT, ITIL, and ISO best practices. You have an excellent understanding of industry standards, methodologies and techniques used to conduct QA audits, control self assessments, security reviews, cost benefit analysis, and business impact assessments. Experience using, configuring and/or managing Oracle Primavera would be an asset. PMP, COBIT or ITIL (or equivalent) certifications preferable.
