Job Summary: 

The IT Division is seeking an Information Technology Assistant to provide project administration services which include coordinating reviews and updates, tracking and reporting time for IT project resources, and conducting research.

In addition, the successful candidate will provide administrative support services to the Manager and Assistant Managers with budget and financial related tasks, general office administration and record/file maintenance. This position acts as the Communications Liaison for the IT Division working with Corporate Services Coordinators and will be responsible for all internal and external communications originating  from or otherwise relevant to the IT Division.

Requirements include:

  • Completion of Grade 12 plus one year post-secondary education in office administration including advanced Microsoft Office Suite software training, desktop publishing, and basic accounting, or equivalent in professional development courses;
  • minimum typing speed of 50 wpm;
  • three years of related experience in an office environment;
  • equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered;
  • experience with financial practices;
  • a valid B.C. Class 5 Driver’s Licence.
