Job Summary: 

UNIT4, a rapidly growing organization, is in need of a highly motivated individual to lead the evolution and development of the inside sales team.  The successful candidate will have a strong background managing inside sales team with an emphasis on training, development and optimizing team performance.  Reporting to the Director of Marketing and Sales Operations this is a key management role that will measured through leads created as well as partnership and success of our external sales team and partners.   

Job Responsibilities:

  • Work proactively with Sales and Marketing Leadership team to focus team and meet or exceed territory lead generation goals
  • Build, train, coach and lead talented inside sales organization
  • Provides hands-on sales coaching and mentoring of a team primarily focused over the phone
  • Drive prospect development, sales automation and territory list development
  • Drive continuous improvement of lead processes and sales automation campaigns
  • Lead by example through research, outbound calling, prospect engagement and qualification of the early stage ERP system buyers
  • Build relationships with multiple sales stakeholders both internally and with external partners
  • Set a high standard for customer service in handling all incoming information requests and sales calls
  • Drive data quality and adoption within the CRM system and tools
  • Analyze key metric, optimize team performance, and report monthly on results and lead pipeline visibility
  • Manage and be accountable for lead generation budget and outsourced vendors

Skills Required:

  • Proven leadership experience in managing an inside sales team of 5+ people (Enterprise Software or SaaS environment preferred.)
  • Can-do attitude, positive, results-oriented leader with a demonstrated passion for team development, sales and results
  • Experience and proven ability to develop a prospect pipeline via outbound calling and engagement of C level executives.
  • Coaching, sales training and mentoring skills with a proven ability to develop people
  • Outstanding communication (verbal and written), organizational and self-motivational skills.
  • A strong desire to succeed - relentless, goal-oriented, persistent, with follow through.
  • Experience with CRM (Salesforce.com preferred)
  • Strong technical aptitude, including above average knowledge of and Microsoft Offices suite of products (Word, PowerPoint and Excel.)
  • Formal education in Business, Marketing or related field required and at least 2-5 years’ experience in a similar role or Team Lead

Location: Victoria, BC
Travel Requirement: Up to 20%. Candidates must be able to travel throughout North America.
