Job Summary: 

Sales & Marketing Associate

Come join our high power, high performance, high altitude (penthouse), team of user-focused, cool techies in selling next generation spatial business software.

The Position:

The Sales & Marketing Associate is a sales-support position, responsible for identifying and contacting prospects, with the expectation to grow into a full Sales & Marketing role within 4 to 12 months. You’ll be responsible for responding to inbound requests, cold-calling into prospect companies – including new and existing clients, qualifying potential opportunities, and scheduling initial product presentations between prospects and our sales team.

Over time, you’ll be conducting product demonstrations for prospective customers and develop into a product expert and advocate integral in the growth of Cloverpoint into existing and new markets.

The Skinny:

  • Identify, qualify and cultivate new sales opportunities through multiple mediums (email, phone, trade shows, inbound website leads, and more)
  • Manage all sales activities (notes, follow-ups, emails, call logs) within CloverPoint’s CRM tool
  • Respond to inquiries via email, incoming and outbound calls
  • Responsible for achieving aggressive weekly targets usch as number of qualified opportunities per campaign, number of daily activities/tasks, call quality, appointment setting and sales skills
  • Learns and assists with product demonstrations via GoToMeeting and in-person

The Specs:

  • BA (or equivalent) with 1-2 years sales-related experience, preferably in a B2B environment
  • Experience with high-volume prospecting through email marketing, social media, and cold calling
  • Enthusiaism for and familiarity with cloud based technology
  • Great verbal and written communication skills
  • Confident, assertive self-starter who is extremely organized and goal driven
  • Team player
  • Ability to listen, learn, and think quickly

Pluses:

  • High volume cold calling experience
  • Experience with social media as a sales tool
  • CRM experience
