BC Assessment is now searching for an enthusiastic person who is passionate about Customer Service Delivery and Business Analysis to join its team as a Business Support Analyst.
In this important role, your primary tasks will be to provide support to clients by delivering services, understanding and responding to user requirements, and recommending changes to processes and systems in response to client needs.
You will also be responsible for recommending operational efficiencies while delivering excellent customer service and developing and maintaining good client relationships.
It will be important for you to work successfully in a collaborative team environment, while having some degree of understanding of project management methodologies, techniques and processes.
Finally, you will be required to research, investigate and analyze various options to achieve client’s objectives.
During your first year at BC Assessment, you can look forward to:
• University degree in computer science, systems business analysis, information management, and software engineering, or equivalent. University degree in business administration or finance (plus related IM/IT courses) will be considered.
• Some experience as a business analyst in a small to large organization.
• Some experience in conducting business analysis, developing business cases and flow diagrams, and identifying and documenting client and user needs.
• Some experience in critical thinking, problem solving and decision making.
• Experience in an appraisal organization or Taxing Authority would be an asset.
Note: Applicants with successful experience as an Appraiser I or II along with appropriate education will be considered.
An equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.
