Job Summary: 

We are seeking an entry-level, social media-savvy, focused individual to join our marketing team. The position of Digital Marketing and Distribution Specialist will have the primary responsibility of being the face of ACDSee on the web, while working closely with Customer Support. Responsibilities would include building relationships with third party distribution sites, overseeing timely updates to all the company’s social networks, creating content, copywriting, affiliate marketing, and image creation, when required. The position may require varied tasks in business development, lead generation, and email marketing.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

  • Service-based attitude with strong attention to detail and corporate standards
  • Creative skills necessary for social media campaigns and content creation
  • Ability to collect stats and analytics for business development
  • Basic HTML knowledge
  • Graphic design experience
  • Background in digital photography an asset

Desired Skills/Experience

  • University Degree in related field
  • 1-2 years experience in a social media role or environment
  • Experienced and effective communicator with an ability to build strong, lasting relationships
  • Comprehensive understanding of popular social platforms (Facebook, Twitter, Google+, etc.)
  • Highly organized, with the ability to multi-task.
