Job Summary: 


ACD is looking for highly motivated and skilled developers to join the product development team. Working closely with experienced senior developers, quality assurance personnel, and product managers you will help build and maintain software shipped to graphic professionals and businesses worldwide.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES includes the following. Other duties may be assigned. 

  • Participate in the entire product life cycle by designing, building, and maintaining high quality software
  • Analyze existing requirements for product enhancement and produce and implement these designs
  • Provide timely and accurate estimates and status updates for assigned tasks
  • Thoroughly document changes and/or new features in a consistent and concise manner


  • Fluent in C/C++
  • Knowledge of Macintosh OS
  • Knowledge of Objective-C
  • Knowledge of Win32 API not necessary but would be beneficial
  • Excellent UI design skills
  • Experienced with source code management systems
  • Experienced with developing desktop software
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and multi−tasking skills


  • B.S. degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related discipline or equivalent related experience
  • 2+ years programming in C/C++ on Macintosh or Windows platform or an equivalent combination of education and experience
