BC Assessment is now searching for a dynamic person who is passionate about technology to join its team in the integral role of Technical Analyst.
In this important role, your primary task will be to provide coordination and expertise in installing, testing, tuning, upgrading and maintaining shared systems software, hardware and networks. You will provide 3rd tier problem resolution and senior technical guidance to divisional staff, users, customers and vendors for business applications and hardware.
You will also be responsible for monitoring various system metrics and checklists, and generating and/or analyzing various reports to identify system abnormalities.
As you will be providing technical guidance and advice to a variety of customers, it will be important for you to communicate effectively and work collaboratively in a team environment.
Finally, you will display your innovation and change management skills by evaluating alternative options for existing infrastructure configurations which minimize cost and increase efficiency.
In the first year, you can look forward to:
Three years related experience
Six years (with technical diploma/certificate) of related support experience in the computer operations field
Experience in a client focused environment is preferred
