Job Summary: 

Position Overview

Reporting to the Marketing Manager, the Senior Online Marketing Specialist is responsible for planning and implementing marketing programs or projects which support company marketing objectives for Sales Readiness, Program Strategy, and Channel Support. The Online Marketing Specialist has core capabilities in web project management, and online advertising (including SEO & PPC) and will work closely with the Marketing team, Sales department, product managers, and external agencies to design and implement online marketing programs that drive our customer service and our ability to sell. 

General Description and Responsibilities

  • Provide project planning and management for all approved, time-sensitive marketing initiatives to ensure delivery on time and on budget.
  • Devise strategies to drive online traffic to the company website(s) while managing implementation and continuous improvement in collaboration with outside agencies.
  • Oversee creation and delivery of complementary online sales packages including specification tools, case studies, testimonials, whitepapers, project reference sheets, product suite overviews, presentations, and white papers.
  • Collaborate with Marketing Manager to create product marketing launch plans and online go-to-market strategies.
  • Monitor demand programs, track conversion rates and recommend changes and improvements on an ongoing basis.
  • Develop and support online training programs for increased lead qualification, education and awareness.
  • Collaborate with Sales teams in creation and implementation of loyalty and value-add programs for distributor and partner network.
  • Work with strategic marketing group to gain an intimate understanding of the Company’s markets and associated audiences in order to better formulate our external messaging.
  • Assist with research and copy-writing/editing of website(s), presentations, video content, eCampaigns and other supporting material as required.

Skills and Requirements

  • Minimum 5 years B2B marketing experience, with past experience in a high-tech environment desirable.
  • Post-secondary degree or diploma in Communications, Marketing or related field, or equivalent work experience.
  • Strong project management, writing, editing and formatting skills.
  • Advanced proficiency in the use of Microsoft business applications.
  • Extensive experience with web content management tools.
  • Comfortable with basic HTML/CSS.
  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite an advantage.
  • Ability to juggle multiple and changing business priorities, with the capacity to meet tight deadlines.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
