Chief Executive Officer

We are seeking a dynamic, proven leader for CEO of FTS.  We are a world leader in the design, manufacture, and service of rugged, easy to use, environmental monitoring systems for the world’s remote natural environments.  FTS is a growing, privately held Victoria-based company, dedicated to industry leading excellence and repeatable profitability.  We develop, manufacture and sell data loggers, data collection and analysis software, sensors, and remote site telemetry systems.

We are a hard-working and fun-loving 60 person, and growing, team of engineers, technologists, and sales and marketing professionals committed to making our customers successful in their efforts to monitor and measure the state of the world’s rivers, forests and weather systems.

You are an insightful leader with strong analytical, strategic business and sales management skills. You have a solid history of bringing out the best in people, inspiring them to excel in the supportive, positive, team-based culture you insist on.  You can lead your product management and engineering teams through the customer-focused hardware and software product development required to execute the company’s market development strategies.

You have a demonstrated ability to grow the top line while maintaining profitability and controlling costs.  You can quickly distill complex information to make timely decisions and manage risks in a manner that builds confidence. You are experienced with international contract negotiations, with both customers and partners.  You have a track record of revenue and profit growth based on increasing penetration of established, competitive markets and finding and developing new markets.
