Job Summary: 

Seastar Chemicals Inc has an opening for a QA/RA Manager who will be responsible for developing and maintaining a quality management system for all aspects of the company’s operations. This position will report to the President and be responsible for ensuring that all products and processes meet all quality standards and regulatory requirements.

Key expectations include, but are not limited to:

  • Develop and manage a quality management system for all aspects of the company’s operations including subsidiaries
  • Conduct regular audits of the quality management system for the company and its subsidiaries
  • Recommend changes based on the results of audits that will improve the company’s product quality and service levels
  • Manage the non-conformance system for the company and its subsidiaries
  • Ensure all activities related to the production, sale and transportation of Seastar’s products comply with relevant local, national and international regulations
  • Manage the staffing and budgeting process for the QA and Regulatory Affairs Department
  • Maintain safety standards within the department and aid the Safety Committee with issues that arise within the department
  • Able to travel up to 20% of the time. 

To be considered for this position, the following is required:

  • Bachelor’s degree in a related science or regulatory discipline
  • Total Quality Management experience
  • 5 years experience in QA/RA, preferably in a chemical manufacturing environment
  • 5 years supervisory experience
  • Record of success in managing/leading an overall quality system and regulatory program
