Reporting to: General Manager, VIH Aerospace Inc.

Status: Full Time

Location: VIH Aerospace, North Saanich

This is a key and critical role. We are seeking someone who has been a Sales and Marketing Leader with an organization who understands the direct sales model and has experience working within aviation and is very social media savvy. He/she is a highly strategic, charismatic, influential marketing professional with a strong track record of working within a growing, entrepreneurial environment, dealing with a myriad of stakeholders while achieving win/win scenarios.

He/she will have significant leadership experience and understand how to efficiently achieve results in a cost-effective and timely manner. He/she will have outstanding business acumen and will assess the existing structure and recommend solutions necessary to achieve objectives as the organization continues to grow in Canada and the U.S.

Responsibilities: This highly motivated Sales Rep will be responsible for the following:

  • Manage client contracts as assigned
  • Investigate potential marketing opportunities
  • Maintain accuracy and effectiveness of quotations and scope of work documentation
  • Liaise with other departments to maximize the "Team Concept"
  • Participate in developing corporate goals, objectives, policies and procedures
  • Forecasting, reporting and budgeting
  • Maintain Sales Pipeline
  • Developing of business through strong and successful prospecting
  • Create and apply sales plans to increase growth and profitability
  • Report to manager on a weekly/monthly bases
  • Continuous learning of new and upcoming products, technologies, and market trends

  • Ability to succeed in a competitive environment
  • Strong closing and communication skills, professional appearance and presentation
  • Excellent work ethic
  • Influential: able to motivate others into action; gifted relationship builder ; able to build rapport, influence, manage conflict and communicate with a myriad of stakeholders
  • Strong ability to negotiate and close deals
  • 8-10 years of related selling experience in the Aviation industry
  • Business degree (preferred, but not required)
  • Willingness to work long hours as required
