Job Summary: 

We are looking for a Marketing Manager or Marketing Specialist, to work alongside Sales and Business Development in our Victoria office.

The Marketing Manager / Specialist works to arm business development teams (both internal and external partners) with the ability to close more business. By planning and leveraging our information systems and refining business processes, this role creates results though more productive execution by our Sales and Partners.

Performance Metrics

  • Increase raw leads and improve lead capture
  • Increase lead to prospect conversion %
  • Decrease % of leads going stale
  • Increase # of leads converting to prospects
  • Improve average time to convert leads

Responsibilities

  • Develops strategies to generate leads
  • Coordinates logistics of 3-4 trade shows per year
  • Oversees our website and complete inbound marketing strategy and platform (HubSpot)
  • SEO, keyword tracking and reporting
  • Oversees our blog writing and content generation
  • Manages email campaigns from A to Z
  • Supports the execution of outbound marketing efforts: segmentation of database & list management, campaign creation
  • Develops and track metrics around sales revenue and cost of sales and marketing activities via business analytics to assist sales management
  • Uses data analytics to gain deeper understanding of trends, sales performance, sales and marketing related costs, and customer data
  • Identifies segmentation opportunities within the prospect database
  • Plan public webinars for the sales team
  • Identifies opportunities for press and magazine article write ups.
  • Research key target accounts and work with the sales team on effective outbound strategies
  • Works with our clients to get client reviews and interviews for media articles
  • Works with our software development team and Client Services on new feature & product announcements

Qualifications:

  • 3+ years of relevant experience
  • Outstanding attention to detail
  • A demonstrated ability to manage resources and timelines
  • Ability to synthesize, strategize, and execute good judgment
  • Ability to hit the ground with minimal supervision
  • Superb writing and editing skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication: you must be able to communicate concepts and ideas clearly and effectively
  • Ability to spearhead and ensure successful ongoing implementation of systems and business processes to deliver marketing resources
  • Excellent planning, organizational and project management skills
  • Strong creative and visual design sensibilities
  • Experience coordinating trade shows is an asset
  • Strong computer skills, including Excel, Google Apps, HubSpot and CRM tool is an asset
  • Software industry experience is an asset
