Job Summary: 

As a key member of the technology team responsible for the building, maintaining and supporting of the Citrix environment, you maintain and operate the desktop technology infrastructure, while providing technical expertise and resolutions within a complex Citrix environment.  Working within the context of technology standards, you will migrate existing applications to a new Citrix environment; administer Citrix images; support and manage current hardware and software standards; and research, test, and recommend new software while providing input into the overall desktop strategy and architecture.  In addition, you work closely with IT personnel to troubleshoot and support user requirements, solve system problems, and assist in server support.

Along with a degree or diploma in Computer Science or other IT-related discipline, you have significant experience in building, maintaining, and providing support in an IT organization, including 5 – 7 years in a Windows desktop environment and 3 – 5 years in a Citrix environment.  You have 3 – 5 years’ experience in image creation, maintenance, deployment, support, and maintaining and supporting Active Directory, Group policies, and DFS structures.  In addition you have experience in scripting, and large scale software deployments.

Desirable Citrix Skills (Provisioning Services, XenDesktop, XenApp, XenServer, StoreFront, and Netscaler Access Gateway).
