Job Summary: 

The Role: In this role you will directly contribute to the overall success of the company. You will own the execution of Marketing tactics (demand generation), plus build the Sales Funnel (lead generation) continually generating new business opportunities for the sales team. This is a hybrid sales/marketing/metrics role.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Prospect, qualify, and develop inbound and outbound leads to create sales-ready opportunities.
  • Research potential accounts, identify decision makers, generate interest and create new opportunities for the sales team.
  • Manage all aspects of proactive outbound acquisition campaigns including demand generation channels, metrics and reporting.
  • Define and implement additional marketing tactics to increase demand.
  • Conduct high-level qualification conversations with prospects via phone and email.
  • Onboard new customers, and help them become proficient in using SilkStart.
  • Collaborate with team members to develop strategies that improve execution and drive incremental results.

Bonus Skills:

  • Previous experience selling to or working with member-based associations, and/or experience working in an association.
  • Previous sales development (lead generation) and/or direct sales experience in a technical environment.
  • Experience with Sales CRM’s (e.g. Streak or Salesforce).
