Job Summary: 

Procura is looking for an enthusiastic, customer-oriented Technical Services Analyst based in our Victoria, BC office. This position will work closely with other IT professionals in Victoria BC, and Sydney Australia, in support of teams at various locations across the US, Canada, and Australia.  An ideal candidate will be a self-starter, and be able to work with minimal supervision in a dynamic environment.  

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

As a member of Procura’s Technical Services team, the Technical Services Analyst will be responsible for the ongoing support of users, systems, and infrastructure employed by the Procura organization including, but not limited to the following:

  • Project and task driven installation/configuration activities
  • Performing operational IT support for teams in various countries
  • Monitoring and maintenance of corporate and product related systems
  • Creating and maintaining technical documentation
  • Dealing directly with vendors for support as required
  • Participating in the planning and maintenance of disaster recovery activities
  • Acting as an escalation point for product related technical questions and requests
  • Sharing on-call escalation rotation responsibilities
  • Occasional scheduled and unscheduled evening and weekend time requirements
  • No regular travel, though occasional travel may be necessary

Qualifications

Applications will be Top Graded.  As such, experience in all areas may not be required if excellence is demonstrated in others.

  • 3+ years related IT experience
  • Administration of Windows Server platforms, including: 2008 R2, 2012, and 2012 R2
  • Administration of Windows client devices, including: 7, 8, 8.1
  • Virtualization Technologies (VMWare ESXi, vCenter, etc.)
  • Active Directory Administration
  • Exchange Server Administration
  • Best practices relating to hardware installation & maintenance
  • General networking principals (DHCP, IP Addressing, Subnets, etc.)
  • General SQL Server administration
  • SSL Certificate Management
  • Creation and maintenance of technical documentation
  • Education/certification in any of the above areas
  • Valid passport
  • Experience with Procura applications is an asset
