Job Summary: 

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

The Electronics Engineering Technologist participates in documentation, electrical design, and testing for Inuktun’s standard and custom system designs, working in a team environment with direction from Electrical Engineers.  Primary responsibilities include:

  • Preparing electrical drawings and related documentation
  • Designing electrical systems under the direction of senior engineers
  • Assembling prototypes
  • Integrating systems
  • Testing new designs
  • Providing support to other departments and customers as required.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Minimum 1 year of related electrical/electronic engineering technologist experience
  • Electronics/Electrical Engineering Technologist diploma, or equivalent
  • Soldering and electrical assembly skills
  • Skills and experience with Altium Designer or similar electronics design software
  • Computer skills (MS Office applications, Wrike, ePDM, Global Shop, Mantis)
  • Design skills and experience
  • Skills and experience in debugging electrical systems
  • Attention to detail
  • Analytical and problem solving skills
  • Innovation and creativity
  • Effective team player and collaborative approach
  • Ability to thrive in a challenging and dynamic work environment.
