Job Summary: 

Procura is looking for high performing, driven and passionate Senior .NET Engineer (Full Stack) that will contribute as a member of our small fast-paced core technology team that drives technical innovation across our global products and development teams. This senior technical role will work closely with the Chief Software Architect, onshore and offshore development to lead, develop and promote technical innovation. 


Reporting to the Chief Software Architect, you will work closely with onshore and offshore development teams, as a key subject matter expert around .Net development and architecture. You will be responsible for:

  • Architecting, developing and documenting services and managers to support core products written in .Net 4.5
  • Architecting, developing and documenting public and private APIs written in ASP.NET Web API and/or WCF
  • Architecting, developing and documenting windows services/agents/adapters
  • Providing technical leadership and assisting product specific architects with product specific applications and service/data layer implementations
  • Defining and promoting corporate guidelines for .NET development and architecture
  • Assisting project management with time estimates and achieving project timelines


  • Experience of a range of systems development practices and methods with a good understanding of the relevance of each when considering various types of technical change programme
  • Very strong communication and interpersonal skills as well as the ability to relay complex technical issues to a non-technical audience in an engaging and informative manner
  • The ability to understand and improve technical specifications written by others, including high complexity specifications.
  • 5+ years of experience in .NET development and/or architecture using C#, including a solid knowledge of .NET 4.5, C#, Visual Studio 2013+, MEF, WCF, Entity Framework, IIS, ASP.NET Web API, ASP.NET MVC, AngularJS and/or WPF
  • 5+ years of experience developing and/or architecting authentication/authorization models, caching models and performance tests
  • Deep knowledge of Microsoft SQL Server and relational database concepts
  • Familiarity with source code management systems such as Perforce, SVN, and/or Fortress.
  • If relocation is required, you are legally entitled to work in Victoria, BC, Canada. A copy of a valid work permit may be required
