ENKON Information Systems Inc. is embarking on an exciting project for the government of Botswana. This project will involve building an enterprise level land information system to support land management practices throughout the country. ENKON is looking for a senior database architect and programmer to join our programming team.

Job Summary: 

You will be the lead database architect for the Botswana project and will support the development of an application programming interface for the core application. Successful candidates will have the following qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering or equivalent, and 10 years (minimum) experience.
  • Expert knowledge and proven experience in database design, views, functions,
  • SQL languages, TSLQ, Profilers and data flow processes.
  • Detailed knowledge of Microsoft SQL Server 2012 and 2014.
  • Experience with Oracle.
  • Knowledge of programming languages, including programming for the Internet (i.e., HTML, JAVA, ASP, COM+, VB, C/C++, XML/XSL).
  • Knowledge of the Internet multi-tier (N Tier Application Development).
  • Experience with development of web services and web API development.
  • Experience in land management related software would be considered an asset.
  • You will be highly motivated, a team player, enjoy seeing tasks through to completion and expanding your skills in leading edge technologies. You will also love to travel.
