Job Summary: 

We are going through some exciting growth and are expanding our team in Victoria, BC.  Currently we are recruiting a Network Software Development Engineer.  This is a full time role.  

The key responsibilities of the Network Software Development Engineer are analyzing, requirements capture, architecture design, developing and testing networking software for radio infrastructure products. 

Qualifications & Requirements:

  • B.Sc. in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Software Engineering or equivalent
  • Java expertise required
  • Experience in Web Development, PHP, JavaScript and CSS
  • Experience in concurrent applications (Thread classes; Runnable interfaces; Locking and synchronization)
  • Networking interfaces (UDP sockets)
  • Familiar with network simulation and testing applications
  • Linux/ /Unix experience required
  • Shell script writing (Bash/sh preferred)
  • Experienced with cURL and Apache preferred
  • Experienced with continuous build and development management tools
  • LMR Industry experience an asset but not required
  • Agile development experience
  • Ability to work in a team environment
  • Strong problem identification and resolution, organizational, time management and prioritizing skills
