Job Summary: 



Working as part of a dynamic, results-driven team, you are able to manage all aspects of key IT projects in support of business initiatives. This includes delivering projects within agreed upon scope, schedule, quality and budget while following effective BC Ferries project methodology policies and procedures. You have strategic Organizational Change Management (OCM) experience and can leverage industry best practices. You are responsible for the successful planning, delivery and reporting of the project status to stakeholders.

As an achievement oriented individual with a commitment to quality, you promote a cohesive work environment that encourages cooperation and motivation amongst team members, with the ability to lead a team to drive for results and meet goals. You are able to demonstrate a proven track record of managing IT projects with budgets of at least $5 M. You are highly organized with an ability to effectively prioritize and manage projects within strict timeframes. You are an analytical thinker who ensures accuracy in the details with strong problem- solving and negotiation skills. You have a keen customer focus with an ability to ensure the solution aligns with strategic business objectives.

You have a diploma or degree in Computer Science, Business or other related discipline with extensive IT project management experience, including managing application development/COTS projects. Experience in travel, transportation or service industry, PMP certification would also be considered an asset.
