The position facilitates the smooth deployment of technology to DFC’s North American retail environment while administrating and maintain the methods of delivery.
This role will work with IT peers, helpdesk technicians, and members of the Retail Operations team while reporting to the Help Desk Manager.
This position will also have contact with independent software vendors and hardware distributors.
Provide expert and creative solutions to software distribution and endpoint management with an eye towards cost effectiveness and efficiency.
The ideal candidate will have a two-year technical diploma or the equivalent in work experience and two to three years of prior related experience.
Experience: It would be beneficial that the candidate have prior experience with software deployment systems, SQL reporting, and windows administration.
• Experience with Software Delivery systems
• Knowledge of Windows desktop administration
• Knowledge of windows scripting in various languages. ( Ex. VB Script, PowerShell, Batch)
• Knowledge of Windows Management Instrumentation
• Knowledge of T-SQL query language
• Data entry skills
• Technical Writing
• Strong oral and written communication skills on both a technical and business level
• Must be detail-oriented and logical
• Ability to learn new business and technical concepts
• Able to work with minimal supervision
• Ability to adapt quickly to new technologies and changing business requirements
• Excellent analytical and problem solving skills
