MANAGER, DIGITAL BUSINESS STRATEGY
Fare Flexibility & Digital Experience Initiative
You have a gift for digital business strategy and related technologies, your passion is staying on-trend and your goal is leading the delivery of business requirements of a commercial-strength e-commerce consumer website. Working in collaboration with the IT Project Manager, you will spearhead the implementation of the digital strategy which includes the website and the accompanying revenue management software, representing a major business transformation project for BC Ferries
You will create and own the related digital business processes that feed into and form part of the project plan. You will ensure the quality and continuity of the team by hiring, supervising, developing, training, mentoring and evaluating performance of project team members. You will oversee the analysis of business and user needs and lead the relationship between stakeholders and technical teams. You will lead the planning, creation, optimization and implementation of the new website as well as the development and implementation of e-commerce, mobile and social systems strategies in support of business objectives.
You have a University degree in Computer Science, Business or an IT related discipline (or equivalent work experience). You have a minimum of 5 years’ experience with web and mobile solutions coupled with a minimum of 10 years’ experience working in online marketing. You have an understanding of web design, web development, graphic design and information architecture. You have acumen around digital solution delivery, and proficiency in MS Office Suite, Adobe Suite and Microsoft Outlook. PMP training and/or certification is considered an asset.
