We’re in need of another set of capable hands that can help turn about:blank into engaging, effective websites. More specifically, we’re after someone that enjoys solving design problems, making things look nice, and doing so using front-end code.
The person we’re looking for can use media queries to build responsive pages without flinching, insists on trimming excess fat from images bound for the web, and knows better than to nest CSS selectors 12 levels deep and placing !important everywhere! (probably from experience).
We think that person is pretty passionate about the experience of the things they make, and as a result, pays a lot of attention to load times, stutter-free scrolling, and avoiding hurting peoples eyes with this.
We’re pretty open minded about what tastes, opinions, and preferences this person has. We’re not looking for someone that echoes our own design preferences; we’re looking for someone that brings their own sensibilities and beliefs to their work.
