ENKON Information Systems Inc. is embarking on an exciting project for the government of Botswana. This project will involve building an enterprise level land information system to support land management practices throughout the country. ENKON is looking for a senior IT System & Network Administrator to join our Botswana project team. This position will appeal to someone who is detail oriented and is excited by leading-edge technology. You will be required to travel to Botswana on a regular basis.

Job Summary: 

You will be required to travel to Botswana on a regular basis. Your challenge is to assist and support the IT and project team in maintaining all aspects of the project’s Data Centre that web systems for the Botswana client. You will be responsible for networks, data communications, security, evaluating hardware and software purchases, and recommending new technology to increase efficiencies. Duties include disaster recovery planning, network analysis and configuration, software patches and maintenance, backups, Oracle administration, capacity planning, writing and maintaining system documentation.

You will have a minimum of 10 years of experience implementing and supporting mission critical server and network infrastructure, have a MCSE designation, and experience with ESX/VMWare Infrastructure. Oracle certification and other certifications will be an asset.

Please Note: A Security Clearance Background Investigation will be required.
