Job Summary: 

Under the direction of the Channel Account Manager, the Customer Service Order Entry Clerk provides support services to the Fulfillment and Sales Teams.  The Customer Service Order Entry Clerk provides proactive administrative support, which includes assisting customers via telephone in a professional manner, processing orders as required, data entry, word processing, sorting and filing, etc.  This individual regularly communicates with internal and external customers in order to maintain a pleasant rapport and to provide valuable assistance to the Fulfillment and Sales teams.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES   Include the following. Other duties may be assigned.  

  • Assist customers and others via telephone in a professional manner
  • Enter orders into our Salesforce CRM Platform
  • Relay large orders to Sales Team
  • Correspond with internal and external customers to verify orders and to resolve customer issues and/or problems
  • Administrative duties as assigned

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES

  • Ability to understand and use a telephone system
  • Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with all internal and external stakeholders
  • Strong business communication skills in both written and verbal form
  • Excellent organizational skills with an ability to balance multiple priorities, in a fast paced work environment 
  • Ability to work in multiple computerized platforms
  • Strong administrative skills with careful attention to detail
  • Solid understanding of what is involved with the provision of quality internal and external customer service 
  • Willingness to learn 

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Certificate or Diploma    
  • Minimum 1 year in an order entry position
  • Minimum typing speed of 50 WPM
  • Experience with Microsoft Office Suite: Word, Excel, Outlook and the Internet
  • Experience with Salesforce an asset
  • Experience in a Customer Service environment an asset
