As part of the BC Mail Plus Systems team you will be responsible for providing technical expertise and advise in the design and development of new and/or enhanced custom applications. Developing and maintaining the line of business applications and make changes and enhancements through the various phases of the application development lifecycle. Conducting technical quality assurance reviews and updating, documenting and supporting infrastructure tools and utilities.

To be considered for this position your resume must clearly demonstrate that you have the following: 

  • Diploma, certification or equivalent in the computer science field, or equivalent.
  • Demonstrated experience troubleshooting, testing, implementing and supporting Windows server security, software and hardware solutions.
  • Demonstrated experience with Visual Basic 6.0 and VB.Net in a scripting environment.
  • Experience in assessing customer requirements, developing and implementing technical and business solutions.

Preference may be given to the following:

  • Demonstrated experience supporting AFP printing architectures in both LAN and mainframe environments.
  • Demonstrated experience in supporting document imaging and data capture applications in an Enterprise Client/Server environment
  • Experience writing technical documentation and leading information sessions for non-technical users.
