Job Summary: 

We are seeking a Hydrology Sales Professional to join our progressive sales team focused on market opportunities created by our next generation water monitoring equipment, applications and software systems.

This position introduces the latest technology such as the touch screen datalogger and high data rate GOES satellite transmitter to new and existing customers.  Typical customers include the US Geological Survey and state, provincial and municipal customers with hydrometers, water quality, and water quantity monitoring applications.

This position manages the Eastern US territory to develop and manage accounts through the entire sales process including business development, prospecting and specifications, contract negotiations and, on occasion, product installation and customer training. 

You are a natural with people, easily building credible, long-lasting relationships.  You enjoy working with clients to develop environmental monitoring and analysis solutions that meet their needs.  You are intuitive, curious by nature, and you thrive independently as well as in a strong team-based culture.  You enjoy the outdoors for those occasional onsite visits.

You bring either a related bachelor’s degree or relevant combination of education and experience.  You have at least three years recent, related experience successfully selling technology products (ideally in hydrology market) to US government departments, and demonstrated experience conducting presentations.

Territory travel will consume about 50% of your time.  Therefore, we’re interested in speaking with qualified candidates ideally located in the Eastern US.
