The Municipality of North Cowichan invites applications from candidates with the proven skills, qualifications and abilities for the position of Client Support Specialist.
The successful candidate will work under the direction of the Information Services Manager and will provide assistance to all Municipal Departments in regards to routine maintenance and administration of information technology equipment. You are an individual who can effectively trouble shoot, respond to the varying demands of the organization and provide a high level of customer service. Hours of work for this position may include night and weekend shifts and will include regular travel within the Cowichan Valley. Deployment to other related duties may be required from time to time. This is a unionized position (CUPE Local 358) and the collective agreement may be viewed on our website.
