Job Summary: 

General Description:

The Information Technology Department is responsible for developing technology solutions that contribute to the achievement of bcIMC’s mission and long-term objectives.  The department manages the corporation’s information technology, providing support to 200+ end-users of business applications and IT infrastructure. 

The Senior Systems Integration Specialist is accountable for specific project deliverables related to enterprise application and data integration. As well, the Systems Integration Specialist is accountable to contribute to strategic integration roadmaps, best practices and guidelines, and to provide support for existing solutions.

Specific Accountabilities:

  1. Assist with developing a system integration competency centre and building collateral – integration standards, templates and how-to guidelines, roadmaps and strategies to ensure adoption of practises.
  2. Assist with building and managing integration toolset and environments
  3. Analyze systems integration requirements and apply appropriate integration patterns to develop candidate designs
  4. Provide estimates for work required to deliver integration solutions 
  5. Design, build and test integration solutions using Microsoft BizTalk and other data / application integration tools
  6. Contribute to test planning and execution during system development lifecycles
  7. Provide tier 3 support for production integration environments
  8. Document designs and delivered integrations in line with established documentation standards
  9. Provide knowledge transfer to support teams to sustain integration infrastructure
  10. Actively adheres to compliance and risk management policies, and participates in business continuity planning.
